Student tickets are available for students, apprentices, trainees, pensioners and people with disabilities.
Please note that a valid student ID / proof of entitlement of a relevant authority / institution has to be uploaded during the ticket purchase.


Student groups are eligible for tickets with additional discount. Please direct your request to tickets@fmx.de.

Press Accreditation

A press accreditation will give you access to the On Site and On Demand program.

 

Please note: Everyone registering for a press accreditation must be an active contributor to a publication or media outlet. Applying does not guarantee accreditation. Each request will be reviewed before being authorized.

When can I buy my ticket?

Tickets for FMX 2026 will go on sale on January 28, 2026.

What are my payment options?

There are three ways to pay for your ticket: credit card, prepayment and PayPal.

 

What is the difference between On Site, Online, On Campus, and On Demand?

On Site: takes place at Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart from May 5-7.

 

Online: a full day of exclusive sessions screened on the our website on May 8.

 

On Campus: bonus content focussing on talents and education on May 8, powered by Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg (FABW) and its Animationsinstitut.

 

On Demand: Most of the On Site and Online sessions will be available On Demand on our website from May 9 to June 9.

 

What is the Business Lounge?

The Business Lounge is a space for BUSINESS PASS holders to meet, chat and relax while enjoying a selection of hot beverages, soft drinks and small snacks. The Business Lounge is not to be confused with the Speakers Lounge, which is exclusively reserved for FMX speakers.

What does Priority Access mean?

Priority access allows BUSINESS PASS holders to enter all presentations and talks without any ado – unless the room is already filled to capacity.

What is the COMBI PASS for FMX and ITFS?

The COMBI PASS allows you access to FMX On Site (May 5 to 7, 2026), FMX On Demand (May 9 to June 9, 2026) and the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS, May 5 to 10, 2026). After purchasing the COMBI PASS in the FMX Ticketshop you will have to register separately with ITFS via a personal registration link that is going to be included in the e-mail with your Ticket pdf. You will then have to pick up a separate ITFS badge at the ITFS Info- & Meeting Point (Haus der Katholischen Kirche, Königstraße 7, 70173 Stuttgart, walking distance from FMX). Can I get a refund for my ticket if I'm unable to attend?

You can cancel your unused and fully paid admission ticket no later than April 15, 2026. In this case, the purchase price will be refunded to you minus a processing fee of 3.9% (plus 19% VAT) of the invoice amount and a 5 EUR cancellation fee per ticket.

What options do I have for travelling to the event location?

By train: Take advantage of our exclusive DB event offers that enable you to travel to and from FMX 2026 in a cost-effective and climate-friendly way.
