Each spring, the ITFS transforms the city into a vibrant hub of animated film. It is one of the world’s most important industry gatherings and whether you’re here to discover or to be discovered – ITFS offers unique opportunities for exchange and networking with two parallel events: the Animation Production Days (APD) and the FMX – Film and Media Exchange.

We promise an inspiring week: outstanding films in competition, exciting outdoor screenings, an experimental GameZone, a magical programme for kids and families, as well as inspiring talks and panels. Also worth mentioning: the winner of the Grand Prix in Stuttgart automatically gets longlisted for the Academy Awards in Los Angeles.
