Remus Avram

Remus Avram , Core Technology Engineer, Trixter,

Remus Avram is a core technology engineer at Trixter GmbH based in Munich, Germany. He studied Mathematics and Computer Science at Transylvania University Brasov. Remus's career started when he joined Trixter as render wrangler for the "Iron Man 3" movie. At Trixter, he was part of the IT Team offering technical support for projects like "Cloud Atlas" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron". In the four years since Remus moved to the pipeline department, his work focuses on integrating new technologies in production e. g. Ftrack, Tractor, Phabricator. Also, he plays an important role in developing tools for 3D software such as Maya, Mari and others.  For him, one challenging project at Trixter was the migration of the production database to a more scalable system namely Ftrack. The edge between IT and Pipeline in the film industry represents his main interest.
