There’s ample opportunity to dive into the most recent trends when it comes to professional graphics solutions for realtime camera tracking, 3D rendering, 4D video capture solutions, 360-degree videos, image stitching, crowd simulations, 2D animation software, 3D tree models, gaming companies and lighting software as well as various other fields. MFG Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg

The MFG Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg, which disposes of an annual budget of approximately € 15 million, established the Animation Media Cluster Region Stuttgart (AMCRS) in 2009.

The cluster promotes interdisciplinary know-how and technology transfer, creates synergies and enhances interdisciplinary collaborations with the goal of establishing the Stuttgart Region as a sustainable and internationally acclaimed visual effects and animation sector. AMCRS, which is managed by ANDREAS TRAUTZ, comprises fourteen Baden-Württemberg-based VFX service providers and animation studios. To promote local players’ international and interdisciplinary networking, the MFG and the AMCRS will be represented with a joint stand at the Marketplace.

Have you ever seen a game that instantly catches your eye? This is what we do. The recent project «Overdog» is a collaboration with Disney Research Zürich. With the 3D-pain­ting software „OverCoat“  we stage a realtime game: It imitates the look of a hand painted ani­mation movie including techniques like „smear-“ and «speedline»-effects.

MoComics -

MoComics is young startup launching a revolutionary technology in the fields of Comics for mobile screens.

Displaying an A4 page on a 4” screen is simply not a viable solution to bring great Comics experience to such small physical surface. The technology developed by MoComics scales comic books into multi-layered interactive scenes that unfold under the touch of the user’s finger and matches his reading pace.

Moka Studio -

Moka Studio is a Swiss startup developing innovative and cutting-edge software for 3D character animation. Moka Studio specifically focuses on easy to use and affordable solutions. MoSketch - Moka Studio’s soon to be released product - combines advanced sketching techniques with a generic and flexible inverse kinematics algorithm to provide artists with new means to rapidly and easily create stunning 3D character animation.
