The Academy for International Education is a private, not-for-profit, and independent organization for higher education located in Bonn, Germany. In cooperation with universities worldwide, the AIB offers study abroad opportunities for international students. 

The Department of Visualization at Texas A&M University prepares students for careers in visualization by offering three degree programs: Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and a Master of Fine Arts. Students spend one semester off campus, studying abroad or doing an internship.

ArtFx: School of CG Animation and Visual Effects
Located in Montpellier, France, ArtFx was created in 2004 by professionals from the film, CGI, Video Games and Visual Effects industries. Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg

Since its foundation in 1991, the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg teaches and produces according to the principle “learning by doing”. The students learn how to make films by making films.

The Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Postproduction was founded in 2002 as part of the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg. National and international professionals from the film, media and games industry pass on their knowledge and their experience to the students in seminars and workshops.

All production and animation types are provided for: CG, hand-drawn animation, stop-motion, real-time animation, live action and interactive applications. The curriculum comprises in-depth courses with the focus on Concept Artist, Animation/Effects Director, Character Animator, Effects Artists, Animation/Effects Producer and Technical Directors.

Interactive Media
The graduate program Interactive Media is designed to train Transmedia/Games Directors, Transmedia/Games Artists and Transmedia/Games Producers in interactive disciplines like Game Design, Mobile Content Development, Community Architecture or Design of Media + Space. Furthermore they develop and produce transmedia content and innovative formats, working in teams across departments and in collaboration with other universities.

Der Schwerpunkt 3D Graphics ist die Vertiefung in dem weiten Feld der Computergrafik. Er baut auf den Modulen 3D Design und Animation im 2.ten und 3.ten Semester auf. Obwohl ein Hauptaugenmerk auf 3D Grafik und Animation liegt, sollen aber alle Bereiche der Computergrafik in ihrem Zusammenspiel betrachtet werden, d.h. zum Beispiel Bildbearbeitung, Compositing und Videomatching aber auch interaktive Anwendungen und nicht zuletzt auch Gamedesign.

The B.A. in Animation and Game encompasses character design and storytelling, 2D and 3D animation, game development and programming. Over seven semesters, students work in a practical and interdisciplinary way to acquire the wide range of technical, conceptual and design skills needed for the development and production of animated films, series and games. Professional project management facilitates team-based working on this course, which is taught mainly in English.

Graduates of the programme go on to work in many different areas of the international media and entertainment industry.
