Tracy Campbell, Director, Production Training & Development, Walt Disney Animation Studios

Tracy Campbell is the Director of Production Training & Development for Walt Disney Animation Studios. Since joining Women in Animation in October of 2013 as the Chair of Programming, Tracy has been part of the leadership team that has grown the organization to over 4,000+ global members. Programming has grown from screenings, panels and talks to include an international presence at animation and industry festivals and conferences. For over eleven years, Tracy has immersed herself in animation production and how impactful learning content in art, film, storytelling, technology, robots, leadership and magic inspires an artistic community. In addition to WDAS, her experience at Disney also includes more than four years at DisneyToon Studios and Disney Consumer Products which rounds out her industry knowledge. Prior to joining Disney, Tracy spent her first career in theme park production at Universal Studios providing management for creative development on all properties world-wide. After twelve years, she went back to school where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing, a skill best employed in email composition.

FMX is funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the City of Stuttgart and MFG Baden-Wuerttemberg, taking place in cooperation with the VES Visual Effects Society and ACM SIGGRAPH. FMX is an event by the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, organized by Animationsinstitut, hosting the Animation Production Days (APD), a joint venture with the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS).
