FMX is the leading European conference on Animation, Effects, VR, Games and Transmedia and has grown to become one of the most important international conferences in the industry during the past few years. More than 105 international press representatives attended FMX 2017 in Stuttgartā€™s Haus der Wirtschaft to find out about current trends, innovative approaches and latest achievements in the world of digital entertainment.

Press Accreditation

Please note: We only give out accreditations to journalists who report on FMX 2018! All journalists applying for accreditation must prove they are a representative from an official media organisation. Applying via the Ticket Shop does not guarantee accreditation. Each request will be reviewed before being authorized.

FMX is funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the City of Stuttgart and the MFG Baden-Wuerttemberg, taking place in cooperation with VES Visual Effects Society, ACM SIGGRAPH and the World Building Institute, supported by the Animation Media Cluster Region Stuttgart (AMCRS), Backstage, Foundry, Isotropix, Mackevision and ScanlineVFX. FMX is an event by the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, organized by Animationsinstitut, hosting the Animation Production Day (APD), a joint venture with the Festival of Animated Film Stuttgart (ITFS).
