The APD takes place April 25-26, 2013

The seventh Animation Production Day (APD), which is hosted by FMX, the Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Transmedia and the Festival of Animated Film Stuttgart (ITFS), takes place from April 25-26, 2013. APD annually invites international production companies to submit projects for which they seek co-production, financing and distribution partners. The respective application forms are now available online. 20 to 25 prjects will then be selected for participation. Originally dedicated to film and TV projects, the business platform for the international animation industry has expanded its focus to multi-media platforms in 2013. For the first time APD will offer an early bird discount for producers and investors submitting their application forms by January 24, 2013.

FMX is funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the City of Stuttgart and MFG Baden-Wuerttemberg, taking place in cooperation with the VES Visual Effects Society and ACM SIGGRAPH, supported by the Animation Media Cluster Region Stuttgart (AMCRS), Autodesk, Backstage, Epic Games/Unreal Engine, Foundry, Mackevision and ScanlineVFX. FMX is an event by the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, organized by Animationsinstitut, hosting the Animation Production Days (APD), a joint venture with the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS).
