Ready, steady, educate yourselves! FMX expands its education section around the School Campus with a new program highlight in 2013: Fast Forward Education. This brand-new type of presentation builds bridges between academia and industry. Film, media and design schools present outstanding projects in exactly five minutes brimming with information, teeming with originality. In this way, renowned experts from leading companies gain poignant impressions of the quality of showcased training programs as well as their alumni. Are you a lecturer or professor? FMX 2013 is sure to rock your boat - with presentations on new developments, top screenings and much more. However, ticket prices will stay the same as in 2012, so that you can enjoy more without having to dig deeper into your pockets! You'd better book your hotel soon, though - hotel rooms in Stuttgart are already becoming scarce.

FMX is funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the City of Stuttgart and MFG Baden-Wuerttemberg, taking place in cooperation with the VES Visual Effects Society and ACM SIGGRAPH, supported by the Animation Media Cluster Region Stuttgart (AMCRS), Autodesk, Backstage, Epic Games/Unreal Engine, Foundry, Mackevision and ScanlineVFX. FMX is an event by the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, organized by Animationsinstitut, hosting the Animation Production Days (APD), a joint venture with the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS).
