Newsletter #2 - First FMX 2012 sessions online

08.08.2012

We have put our first two recorded streaming sessions online.

From 2012 to 2013: FMX is on the move. It launches its brand new FMX 2013 website, puts FMX 2012 sessions online and travels to SIGGRAPH. All set for 2013
It's done. Today we've successfully launched our FMX 2013 website featuring one of two fresh and crisp FMX 2013 trailers "Rollin' Safari": Valentina Bruening, Kyra Buschor, Anna Habermehl, Constantin Paeplow and Philipp Wolf created the smart little film that tells the funny story of a failed crocodile ambush. We warmly welcome the spheric crocodiles and flamingos to FMX 2013! However, this doesn't mean that 2012 is already forgotten: Remember that we've promised you exclusive content on our website? That's why we put our first two recorded streaming sessions online. Watch two presentations from our Focus on Poland track featuring The Witcher 2 and the film Man, Chicks Are Just Different. Check our FMX 2012 session archive regularly - we upload new sessions every few weeks! All packed up and ready to go
Hustle and bustle - the FMX team is a busy bee with packed suitcases. Coming Sunday, August 5th, several FMX team members travel to SIGGRAPH that has been a great co-operation partner for several years now. It's time to reconnect with our partners, meet with new, exciting people from all over the world and gather new ideas and inspiration for the year ahead. Do you want to meet up? You can find us at the FMX booth in the SIGGRAPH Village, located in the South Lobby with the International Resources Center - just watch out for the flamingos!

FMX is funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the City of Stuttgart and MFG Baden-Wuerttemberg, taking place in cooperation with the VES Visual Effects Society and ACM SIGGRAPH. FMX is an event by the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, organized by Animationsinstitut, hosting the Animation Production Days (APD), a joint venture with the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS).
