Tom Burton (BBC) and Solomon Rogers (REWIND) will join FMX to talk about the collaborative VR project BBC Home - A VR Spacewalk that enables users to experience what it is like to be an astronaut floating 250 miles above earth. Further speakers who are ready for FMX 2017: Tom Sanocki, whose start-up Limitless Inc. enables the user to animate characters directly in VR, and Jessica Brillhart, the principal filmmaker for VR at Google, who works with the latest 360-degree jump camera technology.

The Quest for Young Talent

FMX dedicates a track to "The Quest for Young Talent," questioning how the latest political events like Brexit may influence the international circulation of creative young talents. Ben Owen (one of us) will host a panel and discuss this topic with Shelley Page (DreamWorks Animation), David Sproxton (Aardman Animations) and Seth Holladay (Brigham Young University Center for Animation).
