Artificial Intelligence
The Artificial Intelligence Track at FMX shed some light on the status quo of AI with an insightful panel featuring Andy Cochrane, Elena Garcès García, Ben Hansford and Bilawal Sidhu: “AI is now at the Gates of VFX & Animation”.
Mentorship
FMX curator Imke Fehrmann invited Nosipho Maketo-van den Bragt and Julie Ann Crommett on stage to discuss "Being the Change Through Mentorship" - building strong connections, improving professional networks for support and striving for equal opportunities and participation.
Forced Perspective
Todd Sheridan Perry set up a forced-perspective shoot as part of the FMX track Then and Now, curated by VFX journalist Ian Failes, who joined Todd on stage. The process is complex - watch it here!
Animation
In the animated series “Fritzi & Sophie" the directors and producers Ralf Kukula, Matthias Bruhn and Thomas Meyer-Hermann tell the story of a friendship in the last weeks before German reunification. On stage with TV producer Anke Lindemann they disclosed how they did it.
