When and where can I buy my ticket?
Tickets will be available from January 10, 2020 via our ticket shop.

What kind of tickets will be available for FMX 2020?

Is there an early bird discount?
Yes! Early bird tickets are available until March 13, 2020.

Are there any discounted tickets available for certain groups?
Students, apprentices / trainees, jobseekers, pensioners and people with disabilities can purchase a reduced student ticket via the ticket shop. A valid proof from a relevant authority must be shown when you collect your badge on location at the FMX.

Requests on discounted tickets for student groups and accompanying faculty members (20 students and more) can be directed to ticketsspamgeschützt @spamgeschützt fmx.de

Where can I get accredited as a journalist for FMX 2020?
You can apply for your accreditation via the ticket shop.

How do I submit a proposal?

Does FMX have a Call for Papers?
The FMX program is curated by the program team and people from the industry, and does not have a call for papers.

What's the submission deadline?
There is no official deadline for submissions. However, we suggest to send in proposals by the end of January as most slots will be taken at a later time.

Do I need to register for workshops?
Generally no, it is on a first come first serve basis. However, if there is a pre-registration process, you will find out about it by checking our website/schedule where it will be announced for the specific worskhop.

FMX is funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the City of Stuttgart and MFG Baden-Wuerttemberg, taking place in cooperation with the VES Visual Effects Society and ACM SIGGRAPH. FMX is an event by the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, organized by Animationsinstitut, hosting the Animation Production Days (APD), a joint venture with the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS).
