Graduated from ASF in 2013 and 2014, Christian and Charlotte evolved as director and producer. They are both based in Copenhagen and are working on projects with international partners and worldwide audience.

They will talk about how, after ASF, they became director and producer and how they started to work together on the CN original show "The Heroic Quest of the Valiant Prince Ivandoe".

Charlotte de la Gournerie, Producer, Sun Creature Studios,

Sun Creature, based in Copenhagen, is a project-driven international team of artists, directors & producers, dedicated to deliver high quality content from concept to final piece. In a dynamic atmosphere, they aim to give meaningful impact and personal perspective to each project that will connect with their clients and audience.

Through the medium of animated storytelling, Sun Creature communicate experiences that share compelling visions, build community and encourage conversation.


During the company’s existence since 2013, Sun Creature has been working on a variety of international projects in different scales, styles and formats. Beside Psyop, Sun Creature has made service work for Riot Games, Netflix and Passion Pictures among others.

Their productions include the double Kickstarter funded interactive fantasy series ‘The Reward - Tales of Alethrion’’ (2013-2016), original Cartoon Network series ‘The Heroic Quest of the Valiant Prince Ivandoe’ (2017) and their current co-production development of their first feature animated documentary ‘FLEE’ (2018-).

Christian Bøving-Andersen

Christian Bøving-Andersen, Writer/ Director, Cartoon Network

Christian is the co-creator/director of 'The Heroic Quest of The Valiant Prince Ivandoe', a new Cartoon Network EMEA production. He previously worked as animation supervisor at Nexus Studio and as an animator on various short films, games and tv-shows, including Cartoon Network’s global hit 'The Amazing World Of Gumball'. Christian is from Copenhagen, Denmark, where is he is currently based. He graduated from The Animation Workshop in 2012, where he also occasionally taught and attended the masterclasses SEA and Animation Sans Frontières.


FMX is funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the City of Stuttgart and MFG Baden-Wuerttemberg, taking place in cooperation with the VES Visual Effects Society and ACM SIGGRAPH, supported by the Animation Media Cluster Region Stuttgart (AMCRS), Autodesk, Backstage, Epic Games/Unreal Engine, Foundry, Mackevision and ScanlineVFX. FMX is an event by the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, organized by Animationsinstitut, hosting the Animation Production Days (APD), a joint venture with the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS).
