Surface stories: Texturing the Wasteland of Fallout Season 2

Out in the Wasteland, every surface tells a story. During this session Jenny Leupold, CG Supervisor at RISE FX, dives into the texturing and look development of Amazon Prime Video’s Fallout season 2. Jenny will show how the Brotherhood of Steel airship, Caswennan, was split into different assets to speed up the texturing process.  She’ll explore how Mari helped artists build materials, achieve an aging effect, and add detail to create a cohesive post-apocalyptic aesthetic. You’ll gain a clear understanding of the workflow that an asset follows at RISE FX, from procedural setup, to checking for camera angles.
