Business Skills for Artists

Video on demand

We’re artists! But in this industry, creativity alone doesn’t pay the bills.

This talk is about the things nobody really teaches you: how to survive and build a long-term career as an artist. Not just landing jobs, but keeping clients, building trust, and becoming someone people actually want to bring back onto a project.

I’ll share what working with clients really looks like. From handling feedback and communication to making collaboration work without losing your mind. We’ll also dig into the business side: how to price your work properly, avoid the usual traps, and stay in the game without burning out after a few years.

If you’re freelancing (or thinking about it), this is for you. You’ll walk away with practical insights to take control of your career and and build a more secure professional future.
