Through our numerous historical series, for which VFX were created by our studio TRIMARAN, we want to showcase how we realistically reconstruct cities and villages of ancient civilizations, with life.
This approach also applies to futuristic and fantasy themes. We will show how we can use these reconstructions to produce both large-scale establishing shots in full CG and to enrich live-action fictional scenes.
The presentation will highlight reconstructions of cities such as Giza, Karnak, and Pi Ramses in Egypt during the reign of the Pharaohs; Viking villages in Denmark; the Mayan cities of Mayapan and Tikal; the Inca cities of Cusco and Machu Picchu; the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan; and the Roman camp at the foot of the village of Alesia.
The presentation will be given by Olivier Emery, founder of the studio, and Quentin Martin, executive producer.
