The future of immersive excellence, innovation, and collaboration in THE CYBERLÄND.

Video on demand

MAIA, the 3D avatar from THE CYBERLÄND, demonstrates how AI-powered characters combine immersive experiences, community interaction, and digital business models. From intelligent avatars for community platforms to the Apple Vision Pro experience, it becomes clear how storytelling, content curation, and web and XR applications seamlessly converge in practical applications.

BSc. (Hons) Game Programming Nikola Merkas, Geschäftsfüher, Studio Merkas

Over the past decade, I've been building real-time 3D and Virtual Reality experiences that change how people perceive and interact with the world. From neuroscientific VR applications at ETH Zürich to worldwide developer training at Unity Technologies, my work sits at the intersection of immersive technology, software craftsmanship, and business impact.

As founder of Studio Merkas, I've led interdisciplinary teams across borders, delivered XR solutions for industries ranging from automotive to sports, and spoken at the XR Expo on the future of immersive technology. I hold a First Class degree in Games Programming from Middlesex University and am currently completing the DAS Leadership Programme at the University of St. Gallen.

I believe the most powerful technology is the kind that makes people forget they're using it. That's what I build. And it's what I love to talk about.

If you're working on something in XR, real-time 3D, or digital transformation, reach out. I reply to every message.
