BroschAI - Distorted Dreams

Video on demand

The BroschAI - Distorted Dreams project created a six-minute animated short film inspired by the works of Austrian artist Klemens Brosch (1894–1926) using artificial intelligence (AI) tools. Brosch’s distinctive style blends hyperrealism, symbolism, and surrealism, exploring themes of war, mortality, and decay. His final creative period, marked by personal struggles with illness and addiction, served as the foundation for the animation. Guided by experts from the Oberösterreichisches Landesmuseum and Lentos Kunstmuseum, the project utilized AI to animate and reimagine selected artworks. The result is a dreamlike film that brings Brosch’s timeless and existential vision to life.
