Joerg Bachmaier has over 20 years of experience leading global studio and content growth initiatives across film and television and driving large-scale projects, strategic partnerships, and innovations in both traditional and virtual production. He has held executive roles in the US at Warner Bros. Entertainment and Endemol, BBC Studios in London, and ZDF Studios in Germany, developing global franchises, managing high-profile IP, co-productions, and delivering innovative cross-platform storytelling through a blend of creative vision and operational leadership across North America, EMEA and LATAM. Born and raised in Germany, Joerg earned his J.D. at the University of Heidelberg, School of Law.
Kevin Baillie began his VFX career at 18 as a previsualization artist on Star Wars: Episode I. Over the next 27 years, he has left a lasting impact on the industry, supervising groundbreaking work at The Orphanage (Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, Superman Returns, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) and ImageMovers Digital.
In 2010, Kevin co-founded Atomic Fiction, a trailblazing VFX studio behind The Walk, Top Gun: Maverick, and Flight. He has also supervised VFX on Star Trek, Transformers, Welcome to Marwen, The Witches, and Pinocchio, collaborating extensively with director Robert Zemeckis.
Most recently, Kevin served as VFX Supervisor and 2nd Unit Director on Here (2024), pioneering real-time AI-driven workflows for de-aging and digital environments.
Now, as Head of Creative at Netflix’s Eyeline Studios, he continues pushing the boundaries of technology to tell stories that would otherwise be untellable.
Beyond VFX, Kevin founded Conductor Technologies, a cloud rendering company acquired by CoreWeave in 2023. He is a member of the DGA, VES, and AMPAS, where he has served on the VFX Executive Committee multiple times.
Kamal Mistry is a seasoned technology executive with over 20 years of experience in the Media & Entertainment industry. His career includes 15 years of Product Management leadership in Media & Entertainment, AR/VR, AI/ML, and Self-Driving Cars, as well as 7 years of production experience as an artist at Pixar, where he began his career.
Kamal has recently re-joined Autodesk, and heads product and strategy, focusing on AI and cloud workflows for content creation.
Previously, Kamal was CEO at Arcturus, where he led innovations in Spatial Video for Sports and Media & Entertainment. At Uber ATG, Kamal led the product team in developing a Simulation platform for testing and developing Self-Driving Vehicles. During his tenure at Netflix, Kamal spearheaded the development of AI-assisted Artwork and Trailer creation, significantly enhancing Netflix’s content library. At Autodesk, Kamal oversaw flagship Media & Entertainment products such as Maya, Mudbox, Motionbuilder, Arnold, and Bifrost. He played a crucial role in acquisitions expanding Autodesk's capabilities and market presence. Kamal's leadership in these roles has driven significant advancements in product innovation and industry standards. Kamal has also been a long-time member of the VES.
