Virtual Production For All Budgets

Whatever the size of the project, On set Visualisation tools can add value, visibility and control for clients. Award-winning VFX studio, REALTIME, will present recent case studies from a range of project sizes, alongside introducing their proprietary virtual camera tool and it's uses across the film, episodic, games and automotive industries. REALTIME’s objective is simple: to put the right tools in place to support creatives and directors to achieve their creative vision. REALTIME will examine how the virtual production toolbox can create efficiencies in the filmmaking pipeline, streamline workflows and allow producers to spend their budget cleverly.

Annie Shaw, Global Executive Producer, REALTIME

Annie joined REALTIME from MPC, where she was Head of Virtual Production. She has a broad range of experience in producing Virtual Production and VFX projects across film, TV, game cinematics and trailers. Her roles have seen her work at studios including Rebellion, Audiomotion, and Andy Serkis’ Imaginarium. AT REALTIME, Annie supports projects across the studio's Games, Film & Episodic and Automotive divisions.

Sam Taylor, Head of Innovation and Development, REALTIME

With 10+ years experience in the industry, Sam started his career at REALTIME working on a range of game trailers, cinematics, and advertising projects. A passion for technical problem solving and knowledge sharing led him to join the lecturing team at the University of Bolton to help establish the technical areas of their VFX and Animation degree course and bring Houdini into their pipeline.   During his seven years at Bolton, he continued to work as a freelance Generalist, most often for Screenclay FX on some of their film and TV projects. His experience has seen him take on roles including Generalist, FX Artist, Cloth TD, Texture, Shader and Look Dev Artist, Lead 3D Artist, CG Supervisor, Environment Asset Build and Layout and 3D Asset Technical Build. Sam returned to REALTIME as Head of Innovation and Development, establishing the award-nominated Level Up training scheme to help new graduates get their first job in the industry and focussing on R&D developments across the studio.
