Audrey Ferrara, VFX Supervisor
Audrey was born in Paris, France, where she studied cinema at the Université La Sorbonne. She attained a further degree in computer graphics and animation from Ecole Georges Melies, and soon joined the innovative visual effects team at BUF Compagnie, contributing to James Cameron’s “Avatar” and Marvel’s “Thor”. In 2011, Audrey moved to London and helped develop one of the visual effects industry’s strongest digital sets departments at The Moving Picture Company. At the forefront of virtual production techniques and digital world building, Audrey became the digital sets supervisor for Jon Favreau on the Oscar-winning film “The Jungle Book”, and subsequently on “The Lion King“. Using her experience in pre-production, live action scouts and environment design, she became the Key Art Director for production designer Mark Friedberg on Barry Jenkins’ “Mufasa“, designing sets and characters, and completing the film as Visual Effects Supervisor.
