Tamara joined Cinesite’s growing animation team in 2017, bringing with her a wealth of experience for making films and building teams in feature animation production. She oversees feature animation production across all Cinesite studios. Recent & current projects include: The Addams family franchise (MGM), Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank, Smurfs (Paramount Pictures), Iwaju (Disney Animation & Kugali), Hitpig & Animal Farm (Aniventure), & Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Mutant Mayhem (Paramount & Nickelodeon Animation).
Beginning her career originally in live theatrical presentations and events, Tamara’s first dive into animation began at The Walt Disney Company, where she worked for over 15 years in the feature animation division. Tamara gained extensive production management experience including producing for the animated shorts program.
As the studio transitioned from 2D features to 3D features, Tamara worked as the Director of Production, helping to guide the teams and develop the necessary practices and technologies for pioneering Disney’s unique blend of traditional and CGI.
Moving into the independent feature world, Tamara then produced and consulted for several of the cutting-edge studios including on films such as Walking with Dinosaurs for Animal Logic, and Escape From Planet Earth for The Weinstein Company. Tamara also worked for Sony Pictures Imageworks and Rovio Entertainment as Senior Producer for The Angry Birds Movie in 2016.
Karyn Buczek Monschein is the VP of Animation Technology at Paramount Animation, helping such films as the upcoming Tigers Apprentice and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. She has 23 years of animation industry experience. Previously she was the Head of Technical Direction at Blue Sky Studios, and prior to that she worked at several studios, creating animation for the Discovery Channel, History Channel, PBS, and NASA. Feature film highlights include The Peanuts Movie, Horton Hears a Who, Rio and Ice Age franchises, Ferdinand, Epic, Spies in Disguise and Nimona.
Roberto Calvo is the Director of Production and Technology Strategy at Nickelodeon Animation Studio, where he is involved with identifying ideal workflows for both technology and production. He has over 25 years of experience working on a variety of projects, including animated feature films, animated series, live action visual effects, and theme park venue films. Roberto has worked at multiple studios, including Walt Disney Animation Studios, DreamWorks Animation, Lucasfilm Animation, and Blue Sky Studios, and has held leadership positions in both production and technology, including Supervising Technical Director, CG Supervisor, Head of Production Engineering, and Visual Effects Supervisor.
Camille Eden joined Nickelodeon as Vice President, Recruitment, Talent Development and Outreach in January 2020, where she leads the recruitment for Nickelodeon Animation, finding and placing new talent that will help develop a growing slate of series and feature productions.
Prior to her current role, Eden spent nearly a decade at Walt Disney Animation Studios as a talent acquisition and outreach manager. There, she built a reputation for promoting diverse and inclusive hiring practices while helping staff projects like Frozen and Frozen 2, Wreck-it Ralph, Moana and Big Hero 6. Additionally, she’s worked across recruitment and production at Sony Pictures Imageworks, DreamWorks and her current home, Nickelodeon.
Since returning to Nickelodeon, Eden has developed a recruitment culture for the studio and continued her work in bringing a diverse lens to hiring the best talent at all levels, partnering with internal departments on learning growth and development and sharing with the world what an amazing place Nickelodeon Animation is to work. Eden’s team has staffed roles on both big kids and preschool animation across television and movies, including SpongeBob SquarePants, The Patrick Star Show, Rugrats, Big Nate, Star Trek: Prodigy, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Monster High, Transformers: EarthSpark and many more to come.
Angelique Yen serves as Nickelodeon’s Senior Vice President, Physical Production, where she oversees production for the brand's animated content across preschool and Kids 6-11, includingTiny Chef, Bossy Bear, Big Nate, The Loud House Movie, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, PAW Patrol: The Movie, and Blues Big City Adventure, among others. Yen is responsible for the day-to-day production operations of Nickelodeon’s CG, 2D and stop-motion animation for series and movies slated for linear and SVOD distribution.
Yen began her career at Disney in 1991 in production where she worked on Aladdin, Pocahontas, Fantasia 2000, as well as Brother Bear and Wild Life in development. Yen joined DreamWorks Animation in 2009, where she worked in both production and held studio roles managing films in the U.S. and internationally from Megamind to Madagascar 3, How to Train Your Dragon and Shrek 4, including unreleased titles: Me and My Shadow, Bureau of Otherworldly Operations, Everest, and a 2D short Bird Karma by William Salazar.
Before joining Nickelodeon, Yen was an executive at Netflix overseeing their animation production, start-up studio and pipeline for 16 slated productions including: Klaus, Over the Moon, and Wendell and Wild. She also has been a consulting producer and enjoys working on production initiatives, architecting structure and systems, team building, budgeting and scheduling feature front end start-ups.
