TALES OF ZALE – From Web-series to TV Development
A lot has happened since Sif first started making her animated web-series 10 years ago. The Danis Director and ASF participant Sif Savery talk about the journey from personal project to TV-series pitch, getting picked up by an animation studio and going into development.
VFX and character animation for HUI BUH UND DAS HEXENSCHLOSS – From Animationsinstitut to leading roles in a VFX-feature
Peter Lames, Sveta Yuferova and Roland Petrizza have neither studied in the same course at Animationsinstitut nor worked on the same student productions. But they kept working in the Stuttgart region and years later worked together on a VFX-feature.

On Thursday, April 27th between 13:30 and 14:30 there is the unique chance to meet up with all Fresh Vision talents and check out about the next application deadline (31.05.2023) for the European Animation Development Lab "Animation Sans Frontières" (ASF). Sif Savery, Director & Animator
Sif Savery is a Danish Director who graduated from The Animation Workshop (Denmark) in 2019; with additional studies at La Poudrière's European Program (France) and Chungkang College of Cultural Industries (South Korea). She has since been working as an artist and Director for companies such as Nørlum and TeamTO - and has been developing her own projects at the Open Workshop Artist Residency. She's particularly drawn towards heartfelt storytelling in a serialized format.
Peter Lames, Accenture Song / Associate VFX Supervisor, Accenture Song Content Germany GmbH
After his apprenticeship as a media designer for image and sound in Trier and Cologne, Peter Lames studied animation at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg from 2011. There he specialised further in the field of VFX. In 2016, he began working at Mackevision Mediendesign GmbH (now Accenture Song), where he worked on numerous series and film projects, including Game of Thrones, Star Trek Discovery, Stranger Things Season 4 and Hui Buh 2.
Sveta Yuferova, Director
Sveta graduated from the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg and has been working in the animation industry for 15 years. In her position as Animator, Animation Lead and Animation Supervisor she worked on national as well as international projects like Carnival Row, Watchmen, Star Trek Discovery, Lost in Space, Hui Buh 2, The Swarm etc. Having recently completed her own animation short film, she is now working on the next animation feature film.
Roland Petrizza, Senior Digital Compositor at Accenture Song, Accenture Song Content Germany GmbH
Roland Petrizza started his career 20 years ago, working as DoP and set supervisor. After some years of freelancing in the field of VFX he graduated in digital postproduction 2011 at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, Ludwigsburg.
He worked as compositor for companies like Digital Domain, Cinesesite, Pixomondo, Studio Soi and many more in the VFX and Animation industry.
In the last 10 years at Mackevision (now Accenture Song) Roland was working on several Films like Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, Lost in Space, Hui Buh 2.
