Join BlueBolt VFX Supervisor Richard Frazer for a journey through the visual effects work that went into Seven Kings Must Die, the feature-length, final chapter of Carnival Films/ Netflix' popular series The Last Kingdom and all five preceding series.

Having supervised three series of The Last Kingdom in addition to the latest feature-length special, Richard will breakdown BlueBolt's The Last Kingdom odyssey, covering complex battle scenes and environments as well as achieving the tone required to bring the blood-filled Saxon historical high drama to life.

Richard Frazer is a VFX Supervisor, compositor and motion graphic designer at award-winning VFX studio BlueBolt, with credits spanning feature film, episodic and commercials from Peaky Blinders to James Cameron’s Avatar. 

Richard recently completed production as VFX Supervisor on Netflix/Carnival Films’ Seven Kings Must Die - the much anticipated feature-length final chapter of The Last Kingdom saga, having previously supervised the entire The Last Kingdom series three through five.


Richard’s VFX Supervisor credits at BlueBolt range from Peaky Blinders series three, four and five; (BBC/Tiger Aspect); three series of Jamestown (Carnival Films); The Orville  series three (HBO), The Spanish Princess (New Pictures/Starz), The Rhythm Section (Eon Productions); through to feature film Kingsman: The Golden Circle (TSG Entertainment & Marv Films).
