Adobe Substance 3D Painter’s VFX adventures: to OCIO and beyond!

Join us for this workshop where we explore how Substance 3D Painter has evolved in recent years. We will take a tour of the most prominent features for the VFX pipeline, from project creation to final export, as well as demonstrate 3D warp and some upcoming features that can enhance the overall texturing experience.

 

Valeria Gerontopoulos, Product Manager and Technical Artist, Adobe

Valeria Gerontopoulos has been part of the Substance Painter team since 2018, starting out as a QA artist and recently transitioning to product manager. Her current role is to offer an artist’s perspective on new features’ design and their implementation, which leads her to explore and learn about the more technical side of creation. As a 3D artist, her areas of interest are texturing, props and environments for games.

Cédric Marchessoux, Senior Product Owner, Adobe

Cedric is Product Owner for Painter, first at Allegorithmic and subsequently at Adobe. He manages the team of product managers and QAs dedicated to Substance 3D Painter. He has a strong scientific background, having co-authored over 60 publications in journals and conferences. He has also co-authored several patents and reviews in different scientific journals.
