As a follow-up to Balenciaga’s ‘Afterworld: Age of Tomorrow’ video game, The Mill was commissioned to create an in-engine cinematic set within the same world, directed, filmed and rendered using Epic’s Unreal Engine. We take a look behind the scenes at how The Mill’s team approached this epic feat, using motion captured actors and 3D scanned real-life fashion models to showcase Balenciaga’s Fall 2021 collection.
Kristian Bonne Jensen is CG Artist and VFX supervisor out of The Mill's London Studio.
Throughout his career, Kristian has always thrived in a variety of projects and roles, starting as a junior compositor on the film Passengers at MPC Film and later joining Industrial Light & Magic as a Lighting Technical director on the first season of Star Wars - The Mandalorian.
During his time at The Mill / MPC Kristian has worked with Brands like xBox, Apple and Samsung and in 2021 he won a Craft Silver British Arrow award for his contribution to Hennessy - Seven Worlds directed by Ridley Scott.
