Tim Sarnoff, Deputy CEO, President Production Services, Technicolor

Tim Sarnoff joined Technicolor in 2009. In 2014 Mr. Sarnoff was appointed President of Technicolor’s Production Services Division, he had previously served as President of Technicolor Digital Productions. In 2015 he was named Deputy CEO. Mr. Sarnoff leads a division dedicated to helping content partners across feature film, episodic and advertising bring stories to life in new and immersive ways. Included in the Production Services portfolio is Technicolor’s animation and post production division, MPC, The Mill, Mikros Image and Mr. X. An industry veteran, prior to joining Technicolor Mr. Sarnoff was President of Sony Pictures Imageworks for 12 years, and previously created Warner Digital Studios as a division of Warner Bros., and shepherded the start-up and growth of Warner Bros. Animation. Mr. Sarnoff holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and in Journalism from Stanford University.

FMX is an event by the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, organized by Animationsinstitut, hosting the Animation Production Days (APD), a joint venture with the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS).
