The FMX 2010 program
For the 15th time FMX introduced the world’s leading experts in the creation, production and distribution of digital entertainment and interactive visualization. We were supported by the
Advisory Board and
Program Board in the various FMX sections:
Conference embraced special presentations on animation, effects, games and crossmedia. This year it focused on the UK, China and Hamburg, offered speeches on 3D stereo, the Virtual Humans Forum, the 5D Conference and the flashconference and featured selected Siggraph papers.
Trade Floor featured top names in the industry who presented their hard- and software solutions for stereo, games, mobile devices, HD, 2D and 3D animation, digital cinema, content management and related services.
Workshops & Masterclasses offered hands-on sessions where visitors could gain in-depth knowledge directly from experts in the industry and learn more about connected fields. The Company Showcase featured individual program by the top firms in the industry.
Recruiting Desks by companies provided face-to-face encounters where jobseekers could show their reels and find their dream job. The Recruiting Presentations informed on job prerequisites, upcoming productions and specific qualifications companies were looking for.
Education included School Desks where trainers informed on their programs, students shared their experiences with other talents and professionals. In the School Presentations students showed their work and other output of the school. The Showcase presented a platform for Animation Sans Frontières (ASF), Eyes & Ears and Filmakademie.
Screenings were the place where FMX opened its doors for visual treats: brand-new top films or highlights from other conferences and festivals.
Events like Animation Production Day (APD), MFG Games Track, Quo Vadis, Visual Experience Lab, Conferences, Into the Pixel, invaZion, the FMX Echtzeit Party and, last but not least, the FMX Closing Party helped to connect people on a professional and casual basis.
